Why this exists
Static sites are easy to publish but hard to make interactive.
A contact form usually means adding a hosted form builder or running an application server beside your site.
Shibumi Forms keeps that job small. Point a plain HTML form at one URL. Each submission appears in a private dashboard where you can read it, add a note, export it, or delete it.
Plain HTML posts work without client JavaScript.
- One containerSelf-host it, or use the free hosted version.
- One databaseControl one SQLite file when self-hosting. Hosted data lives in Falkenstein, Germany.
- Plain HTMLA form tag and an action URL. JavaScript optional.
The core is open source under the MIT license. Use it hosted here for free, or run your own copy: github.com/shibumistack/shibumi-forms.
The hosted service is free to use and funded by donations. It has no uptime or data-preservation guarantee. If an endpoint attracts abuse or unusual load, we may pause it while we work out a fix. Report abuse to [email protected].
Donations to keep the service free are always welcome
Hosted accounts share one SQLite database, separated by ownership checks. Read where and how hosted data is stored.
